Do you want to work in a flexible team where you make a significant difference for children and young people?
Then we need you.
Who are we?
The BUSS team, Child-Youth-Social Collaboration, is a collaborative initiative between the social office and the education office for children from preschool to grade 9. The initiative is through voluntary assistance from the Social Office.
The BUSS team consists of 16 dedicated and driven employees, divided into two working groups; Northern and Southern. You will belong to the Southern working group, which works in areas such as Hageby, Vikbolandet, and central Norrköping.
We are a team that values collegial collaboration and knowledge exchange. We have regular supervision between the two working groups.
We are located at Ruddammen, Skepparegatan 8, and also have a facility in Hageby.
The work is done close to the child and family and involves work in several arenas, at home, in school, and during the child's leisure time.
Your tasks
As an employee in the BUSS team, you work from a salutogenic approach that focuses on strengthening what works and emphasizing the abilities of children and families.
The work is based on and starts from the individual child's and family's needs. You work together with a colleague on each case and jointly develop an implementation plan that all parties approve. This includes a plan for work at home, in school, and with leisure activities.
Examples of interventions may include support to parents regarding routines, approaches, and holding family conversations. It may also involve adjustments in the learning environment and, if necessary, being present in school to promote cooperation between home and school. We encourage positive leisure activities that can become lasting and create new positive experiences.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a university degree as a teacher, social worker, or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
You have experience working with children and families in need of support. Since a large part of the work is related to children's schooling, we prefer that you have knowledge and experience of working in schools.
As a person, you are secure, stable, and have a strong commitment to working with children. You are skilled in collaborating with others and easily build relationships with both adults and children.
Since we work with people, no day is the same, so we believe you can adapt to changing circumstances. You have an easy time prioritizing and finding solutions in different situations.
You have good communication skills and understand how different people absorb knowledge and information based on their individual circumstances. Inspiring and motivating individuals towards development is second nature to you.
A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
Welcome with your application!
